Standing on the sidewalk, staring up at the big house, we noticed something. This house, as Lou put it, has deep eaves. Eaves are the roof overhang. They’re for rainwater runoff, a little shade, architectural details, and birds’ nests. This house’s deep eaves could hold an entire colony of birds.
That house in the background is so jealz of these eaves…
Over the weeks, the name Deep Eaves kinda stuck. I mean, it’s better than Peeling Paint or WTFAreWeDoing.
Oh, I don’t know… From one renovator to another– WTFAreWeDoing has a nice ring to it too.
It does! And it will be said just as much as “Deep Eaves” in the first year, I’m sure.
